As we continue in our study in Acts, Dr. McCormick takes Chapter 14 from a slightly different angle asking, "Is it worth it?"

The question is one that every Christian answers explicitly or unintentionally.  Is it worth whatever it takes to fulfill our God-given purpose in life.
In this message we look at Saul (aka: Paul) and Barnabas...and how they model for us, "Yes! ...it is worth whatever it takes."  As you listen, may the Holy Spirit bless you as you respond to God's Word.

In this episode of our "Heroes of our Faith" Series at The Well, Pastor Kirk shares a word about David and how to handle Crisis.

David faced many crises in his life, not the least of which was the threat personified in King Saul.  Saul wanted to rid himself of competition, not accepting that David was God's choice for the throne of Israel.  In response to this threat, David wrote Psalm 57.
We trust you will be blessed by this helpful message. May God bless you as you respond to His Word.

We continue our systematic study of the early church movement in the Book of Acts.

In this message, Dr. Warner recaps some earlier highlights and emphasizes more of Acts 13.  This message is particularly helpful given the historic view of how Saul and Barnabas overcame so much to spread the Gospel.
As you listen we know that God will speak to you. Respond as the Holy Spirit leads and you will be blessed.
God bless you!

Hello Friends,

Once again, we are blessed to share what the Lord is doing at The Well in this full-service recording.  Gary Heck is leading our worship, Pastor Barkley leading prayers, and Pastor Kirk offers a message using the example of David and Bathsheba.
Everyone is tempted from time to time.  The question is, how do we manage the temptation.  David, in this case, didn't handle it well even though God calls David a "man after my own heart."
We trust the Lord will bless you as Holy Spirit touches your heart throughout this service. As you respond to Him, we pray that this might be a blessing to you.

We continue in our systematic study of the Book of Acts as Dr. McCormick preaches from Acts 13.

The average Christian has a difficult time "evangelizing".  We often think we don't know enough of the Bible to share effectively. Or we feel like we're not adequate in our own walk with God to push others toward Jesus.
In this message, Dr. McCormick uses the model from Paul to show how The Power of Encouragement is a wonderfully effective means by which God draws people, through us, to himself.  To "encourage" is to instill in another the courage to follow God.  So as you listen, allow the Holy Spirit to encourage you that you might have the courage to share with others the encouragement of the Gospel
May God bless you as you listen and respond to His Word!

Enjoy the worship, led by Gary Heck, in this recording of the entire service at The Well from August 31, 2015.

During the service, Pastor Barkley leads us into God's Word as we start a new series entitled, "Heroes of our Faith."  This series is a study of our Old Testament faith ancestors.  In this message, Barkley focuses us on the calling of David...from Shepherd watching over his father's flocks to King of Israel watching over his Father's people.  You will be moved by the insights about our callings, too.
May God bless you as you worship Him and respond to His Word with the Holy Spirit's help.

God loves his sheep...all of them.  He loves his own so much that he'll leave the 99 to bring home the one that is lost.

What a perfect thought for us as we come to the Lord's Table for Holy Communion. In this message, Dr. Warner masterfully reminds us that we are His sheep, we've all been lost, but He loves us so much that He will find us no matter His cost.
Listen to this message...it is more than a message that prepares us for the Lord's Supper, it is an inspired Word that reminds us of the Father's love.

Every disciple, perhaps every person, wants to know if God is pleased with their lives.  We all want to know what God thinks about our effort in life...not to earn God's salvation, but just to know whether we are pleasing Him or if we need to make adjustments.

In this message, Dr. McCormick shares insight from our systematic study of Acts 13 on the means by which God measures "success".  As you listen to this message, may God bless you as you respond to the Holy Spirit's voice in your heart.

People often ask the hypothetical, "If you could meet and converse with anyone in history, who would it be?"  To that, Christians often reply, "Jesus."  How grand and glorious it would be to meet Jesus face to face, ask him questions, hear his responses, get his advice, listen to his counsel.  Would you take advantage of the opportunity if given to you?

The evangelical church professes, "The Bible is God's inspired Word."  What does that mean?  It means many things, not the least of which is that when we hear God's Word we are actually listening to the voice of God.

So...you see...in a way, we can meet and hear the voice of Jesus just by reading aloud the Word of God.

God's Word is Active!  It continues to inspire those who have a curious and receiving heart. Unfortunately, in the liberal church, today, people approach the Word to impose their will on it rather than letting God impose his Will on them.  But we love God's Word, so we come to it to hear God's voice.

Listen to this message as Dr. McCormick reminds us that "God's Word is Active", and because it is active, we are blessed when we respond to it.
