We continue in our systematic study of the Book of Acts by looking at Act 3:11-26.

Some say, "Ignorance is bliss."  Well, if that is true in some things, it is NOT true spiritually.  Thankfully, God can use our ignorance to accomplish his will.  Peter reminds us of this in Acts 3 - how God used the ignorance of the Jews to fulfill his purposes through Jesus, the Messiah. However, God would rather we grow out of ignorance and into his grace that we might lay hold of his promises.

Listen to this message with a prayerfully open and alert heart. Holy Spirit will speak to you.  And may God bless you as you respond to His Word!

Pastor Kirk leads us deeper into our systematic study of the Gospel of John.  Tonight...a familiar passage from John 11 - Lazarus' Resurrection.

Have you ever felt that God reneged on one of his promises to you? ...Like God let you down and wasn't there when you needed him most?  Then this message is for you.
God does not falter in fulfilling his promises. See how Jesus lives this truth for us so we might have hope in those times when it seems like God has forgotten us.  As Holy Spirit touches your heart, respond to him...he loves you!
This is a recording of the entire service. It has been edited to remove the "catch up" sharing and the prayers (for confidentiality).

Dr. Warner leads us into Chapter 3 in our systematic study of the Book of Acts, where Peter and John are going to the Temple to worship, only to encounter a lame man at the Temple gates.  Peter says the infamous words, "Silver and Gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

Dr. Warner gives insightful lessons on this passage. How wonderful and gracious is our God who heals, restores, and reshapes the lives of those who trust him.
We trust that Holy Spirit will inspire you as you listen and respond to this message.  And may God bless you as you are his witness, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In this lesson we continue with Jesus' words to the churches in Asia Minor. Tonight we hear how Smyrna, Pergamum,  Thyatira, and Sardis are doing in their living wholly for God.

Interestingly, only two churches receive no negative comments from Jesus, but most have something going well.  Wouldn't it be awful, though, if Jesus were to write a letter to your or my church and he had nothing good to say?!  Conversely, wouldn't it be wonderful if he had nothing overtly wrong to correct.

As you study God's Word with us, see if you can catch a glimpse of your church in one of these letters.  Remember...the purpose of The Revelation is to prepare the reader/disciple for the second coming of Jesus Christ - "Look, He is coming in the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the people of the earth will mourn because of Him."  (Revelation 1:7)

So be ready and there will be no need to mourn, but we will rejoice for the Glory of God will be revealed and the whole creation will be restored, and the Righteous will be with God for eternity!  God bless you!

We continue to study the Gospel of John at our informal, Sunday night fellowship - The Well.  Here is a recording of the entire service as Gary Heck leads worship and offers a meaningful solo in the beginning of the recording, with the Message toward the latter third.

In this message, Pastor Barkley leads us through Chapter 10 where Jesus says, "I am the gate for the sheep."  We think about listening for the voice of our Shepherd and how the world wants to deceive us into following another "voice".
You will be blessed as Holy Spirit speaks to you through this message. Respond as the Lord leads!
God bless you!

We continue in our series from the Book of Acts as Dr. McCormick continues in Peter's message from Pentecost.

Holy Spirit has empowered a strong witness through the disciples by enabling them to speak in the languages of foreign visitors. This captures the visitors attention. So they try to explain the witness by saying the disciples were drunk at 9:00AM.  But Peter received a word from the Lord to give to the People...and the rest is history.
Peter lifts up Jesus in a new and convincing way by pointing out that Jesus was not One in a Thousand, or One in a Million...no...Jesus is more like One (the Only One) in a Bazillion - he is incomparable, unique. And God had a plan for this Unique One. According to God's sovereign choice, Jesus was to be Messiah.
Listen to this message. Ask for Holy Spirit's guidance. Then respond to the Lord so you can be one of the thousands saved, as they were in Jerusalem on that first Pentecost Sunday.
God bless you!

In this first podcast from The Well (Royal Palm's new Sunday evening informal service) Pastor Kirk lead us through John 9 as we are studying the Gospel of John.

All of us are "blind" to the Lord before Holy Spirit opens our eyes. Yet, even given the enormous testimony to Jesus, some choose to remain blind.  Listen to this message and see the Lord opening your heart to new insights.
Also, since this is our first podcast from The Well, it is not quite perfect (yet.)  We are learning to balance the music (voice and guitar) so you can hear both.  And the church chimes started playing mid-service. We apologize, but it adds some flavor.
Anyway, God speaks nevertheless.  So we praise the Lord for the Miracle of Truly Seeing.  And if you'd like to join us at The Well, we meet each Sunday starting with dinner at 5:00PM, worship and clubs for kids and teens at 5:30PM, then dessert and fellowship. We are done by 7:00PM.  Casual dress is the tone for this fellowship.  We hope to see you there.

We continue in our systematic study of the Book of Acts as Dr. Warner sets our sights and minds on Acts 2, as we explore more of what God was doing in the early church.

Pentecost is the pivotal moment in the life and history of the church.  The assurance and confirmation of Jesus' followers as they receive the promised Power of God is encouraging and challenging to us today.
Listen and respond to God's Word. You will be blessed, and the Lord will make you a blessing to his people and all whom you meet.  May God bless you, his beloved, as you live in his Word for today.
