As we continue in our systematic study of James' letter, James instructs those who are divisive and encourages those in the church who want to live in God's generosity.  This is an incredibly timely and relevant message for Jesus' church today.

As you listen, we pray that Holy Spirit will enable you to be honest with how you are doing. Are you flourishing in God's Generosity...or are you stuck in the ways of the World?  God will bless those who respond to Him.

We are blessed to have been visited by Richard Frieden.  Richard is an American-born Israeli citizen who became a friend of Pastor Kirk when Richard was the guide for a Holy Land tour Pastor Kirk led.  Richard, along with being a guide, also serves as a reservist in the Israeli Defense Forces.  He and his wife have two adult children, both of whom currently serve in the Israeli military.

We pick up the recording following worship at The Well.  Unfortunately, there was not enough time on the recording to include the entire Question and Answer time.
We trust that this timely presentation will be a blessing to you, and that you will gain a fresh perspective about what is happening in the Holy Land as you listen to this recording of An Evening with Richard Frieden.

We continue in our systematic study of the Letter by James.  In this message, Dr. Warner leads us in a word given specifically to those who aspire to be pastors and teachers in the church.

If you are or want to be a leader in the church, this is an important word to you. Also, if you are a member of a local church, this word helps with specific guidelines for church order. In short, there is a good word for everyone who would listen to Holy Spirit as Dr. Joe expounds on God's Word.
May God bless you as you listen and respond to His Message in the letter from James.
(Editor's Note:  We are sorry that the end of the message was cut off. The recording stopped short of the last two minutes of the message. Nevertheless, this is an excellent and challenging word for you.)

We've all done it...said something that we regret.  Sometimes we call it "Foot-in-Mouth" disease, but the result is the same: disharmony and disappointment.

What if we could T.A.M.E. the tongue to encourage others?  What if we could use our speech to be a blessing?  James has a word for those who are honestly seeking to grow in one of the toughest aspects of life: controlling our tongues.
Listen to this message offered by Dr. McCormick. As he speaks, listen for Holy Spirit's voice. Then respond to what the Lord is saying.
May God bless you as you win people with kindness by T.A.M.E.ing the Tongue.

It's an age-old question: What is the relationship between Faith, Salvation and Works?  James has a unique perspective that, at its foundation, is consistent with the other writers in the Bible. It is consistent because all of the Scriptures teach that salvation is a gift of God's grace which cannot be earned through works. However, then, what is the function of our works?

James' unique teaching is that our works are a necessary result of faith. In other words, we cannot say we believe and then live like unbelievers.
Listen to this message and respond to what Holy Spirit says to you. May God bless you as you engage His Word.
